I started Amavi Travels because I couldn't stop going places — and couldn't stop wanting to share what I found there.
I've ridden camels through the dunes of Zagora, savored espressos in Roman piazzas, eaten at a family-run warung on the cliffs of Nusa Penida, and stumbled into a tiny bar in Tokyo's Golden Gai that served unexpectedly sublime limoncello. Thirty-five countries in and I'm still in a constant state of curiosity and discovery.
My passion is the detail — the best pizza tucked down a cobblestone alley, the hotel that no one else has found yet, the experience that doesn't exist on Google. As an avid skier dividing my life between Italy and California, I'm lucky enough to do this alongside an equally intrepid husband. We've navigated India's mountain roads by motorcycle and drifted down the Nile. Even our dog Oliver travels with us — EU passport and all.
Travel isn't about destinations for me. It's about the stories, the connections, and the moments that become lifelong memories. That philosophy is woven into every journey I design.
